صد دانه یاقوت

صد دانه یاقوت دسته به دسته
با نظم و ترتیب یک جا نشسته
هر دانه ای هست خوش رنگ و رخشان
قلب سفیدی در سینه آن
یاقوتها را پیچیده با هم
در پوششی نرم پروردگارم
هم ترش و شیرین هم آب دار است
سرخ است و زیبا نامش انار است

Sad dāne yāqut daste be daste
Bā nazm o tartib yek jā neshaste
Har dāne-i hast khosh-rang o rakhshān
Qalb-e sefidi dar sine-ye ān
Yāqut-hā rā pichide bā ham
Dar pusheshi narm parvardegāram
Ham torsh o shirin, ham ābdār ast
Sorkh ast o zibā, nāmash anār ast

ترجمه

A hundred rubies, cluster by cluster
seated all in one place, neat and orderly
each seed is bright and beautifully colored
a white heart within its breast
the rubies wrapped up together
in a soft cover, by my Lord
both tart and sweet, and juicy too
red and lovely — its name is pomegranate
